Some Ghanaians including journalists who went to view the ace investigative journalist, Anas Aremeyaw Anas expose’ on corruption in Ghana Football on Wednesday have called descended on Kennedy Agyapong and the FA boss Kwesi Nyantakyi — With some calling for his immediate resignation.
Yesterday, Wednesday 6th June 2018 the documentary titled Number 12, was premiered at the International Conference Centre.
According to them, Kwesi Nyantakyi has no moral right to lead the association after his alleged involvement in corrupt practices.
In the video, Mr. Nyantakyi could be seen bragging about how influential he is and promised to pursue President Nana Addo to give the supposed investor contracts.

He also adviced that Kennedy Agyapong should be brought on board. According to Nyantakyi, Karno, the current deputy minister for transport advised they bring Kennedy Agyapong so they can have their peace of mind.
“Anthony Karbo also advised that we must make Ken Agyapong a shareholder. Ken does not fear anyone. Once we have him on our side, we will have our peace of mind.”
Kwesi indicated that it can be done by giving the president Nana Addo $5m, $3m to the Vice President Bawumia, $2m to the Highways Minister, $1m to Anthony Karbo $1m while he and one Abu, will share the $1m.
He assured the investors [now we know as the tiger team investigators] that he would arrange a private meeting between them and the President.
“Look, the President sold a lot of properties before winning the election. He needs money. All his brothers are complaining that they don’t have money. The $5m will greatly help the President”. Nyantakyi added.
He was also seen taking 65,000 dollars from the investor while drafting an MOU.
Right after watching the video, some of those who viewed described the day as a ‘sad day for Ghana’.
Boadu Ayeboafo told UTV that, he is sad for Ghana. I never imagined the football we watch for entertainment can be involved in such corruption. No wonder most Ghanaians are following foreign teams.
“Nyantakyi is a liar. He lied about the president because of money. Ghana football should be collapsed” he added.
For Pinnacle, Kwesi Nyantakyi should even be hanged and couldn’t fathom why Ken was supporting him after watching the video.
“I am sad, after watching this video, I don’t know why they’ve left Kwesi Nyantakyi to walk free, he should be hanged”
