Kumawood Actress Nora Frimpong Manso known in showbiz as ‘NoraUrMajesty’ has said that Ghanaians will soon forget dancehall sensation Ebony Reigns.
Speaking in a recent interview, Nora Frimpong Manso aka ‘NoraUrMajesty’ said Ebony would soon be forgotten as it has happened to Terry Bonchaka, Suzzy Williams, Kwame Owusu Ansah, Bob Santo and others. When these celebrities who were at the peak of their career lost their lives, Ghanaians mourned them like they will forever remain in their hearts.
“Ghanaians are hypocrites and cherish the dead more than the living, I quite remember when Ghanaians castigated Ebony for her way of dressing and after her demise, she was praised as if it was a different person. They should ask John Mahama( JM) how easily Ghanaians forget. I wouldn’t even be surprised if her songs gradually fade out. Out of mind, out of sight,” she said.
“Ebony was rubbing shoulders with the male musicians by producing hits after hits and it is unprecedented that a female artist has been nominated for artiste of the year in the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards, it goes a long way to tell you how influential Ebony was in the industry,” she added.
