Award-winning Ghanaian rapper, Sarkodie has spoken about the late Ebony Reigns and what he stood for as one of the most vibrant female artists in Ghana.
According to Sarkodie, Ghanaians misunderstood Ebony’s brand hence the needless criticisms and abuse from a section of Ghanaians.

Speaking to Akosua Konadu, host of ‘The Hard Truth’ show, King Sark stated that, Ebony through her music empowered women and inspired people as well.
Sarkodie Said:
“the good thing is she is actually using that in a positive light. She is empowering women. She is using some of the music to inspire as well.
“..I think its art and its business. That’s her strategy and that’s what works for her. People tend to miss the message of what artists stand for, what they are trying to do.”
Ebony togther with her best friend, Francisca Yaa Nkansah aka Frank Kuri, a military officer Francis Atsu Vondee died in a fatal car accident on the Sunyani Kumasi road on the 8th February 2018 after they had gone to visit Ebony’s mum in Sunyani and were returning to Accra.
