Born Samuel Adu Frimpong, Ghanaian rapper Medikal is one of the highly respected rappers in Ghana currently and from all indications, he keeps soaring higher by the day.
The AMG Business Rapper, Medikal is known for songs such as “Too Risky, Gimme Vibe, Poof Gang, Confirm, Adwee Ba” and other dhope songs. He also got the highest nominations at the 2017 Ghana Music Wards.
Medikal is engaged to Sister Deborah known in showbiz as Sister Debby, the “Uncle Obama” hitmaker and the younger sister of controversial rapper, Wanluv the Kubolor.
Well, one other thing you can easily associate the rich rapper with is his slogan, “Poof”. Not once will you see a tweet or a social media post of Medikal that he has not hashtagged #Poof.
Equally, he won’t rap more than 2 lines without throwing his slogan “Poof” somewhere in his songs. In fact, Poof is Medikal and Medikal is poof!.
But do you know the meaning of Poof? Poof is another term for homos*xual or a person who is attracted to someone of the same gender.
According to Urbandictionary.com:
“Poof is the British word for a homos*xual (see faggit, homo, gay) that is one of many variations of someone who desires someone of their same gender”.
Since Ghpage.com discovered the meaning of Poof, we have been wondering why the rapper who is a known “straight guy” will choose homos*xual as his slogan.
Did Medikal know the meaning of the word before he chose it?, is he indirectly propagating homos*xuality among his thousands of fans? Or he was simply ignorant about the meaning of his own slogan? Only Medikal can answer these questions.
