For some few hours now, the hottest topic on the lips of most Ghanaians especially on social is the assault of a woman and her baby in the banking hall of Midland Savings and Loans by a Police Officer.
The police officer has been identified as Frederick Amanor aka Skalla. According to the unofficial reports gathered so far, the woman and her infant baby went to Savings and Loans Bank to withdraw her own money she has deposited. An amount of GHS250.
She was informed to leave and come back the next day because the bank had closed for the day but she was adamant and requested for her money. The place officer on guard at the bank, Frederick Amanor was called in to drive her out.
No one yet knows what she may have said to infuriate the officer but Frederick Amano was seen kicking, slapping, punching and dragging the woman who held on desperately to her infant child in her arms. It’s heartbreaking watching the video and Ghanaians have reacted to it angrily.
Whiles most of them are calling for the police to be sacked from the force, others are cursing the police officer with every everything you can imagine. Charley…Ghanaians are angry.
