The Social Security and National Trust (SSNIT) to the shock of Ghanaians procured a computer software for $66 Million dollars which generated a public yells.
SSNIT contributors described the purchase as outrageous, but when further questions were asked, fresh information gathered indicates that the amount was not actually $66 million but rather $72 million.
5 people are currently undergoing investigations by the Economic and Organized Crime Organization (EOCO) for their involvement in the acquisition of a BOS software for the Social Security and National Insurance Trust (SSNIT) at $66 million.
According to what Ghpage.com gathered, the software was to network all branches of SSNIT across the country to enable them to receive data directly to the headquarters and enhance efficiency.
The Board of SSNIT has since engaged the services of an audit firm, Price Waterhouse Coopers (PwC) to audit the transaction.
