Ghanaians have begun the singing of a petition to get ousted Asamoah Gyan back into the Black Stars team.
This is a reactionary action following the embarrassing exit of the team from the AFCON 2021 in Cameroon.
Ghanaian rapper DBlack has called on Ghanaians, as a matter of necessity, to sign the petition to get the record goalscorer back into the Black Stars.
Asamoah Gyan was nearly left out of the team for the 2019 AFCON by former coach Kwasi Appiah. Subsequently, he was left out of the squad in call-ups.
Although Asamoah Gyan has not retired from the Black Stars., he was been relegated to the background by Kwesi Appiah, CK Akonnor and Milovan Rajevac and as result did not form part of the squad for the 2021 AFCON.
On the back of that, Ghanaians are signing a petition to get Asamoah Gyan back into the team. They believe he has what it takes to get Black Stars back on the winning way based on previous records.
