Ghost of late Ebony keeps tormenting me – Nana Opoku Kwarteng

Father of late Dancehall artiste Ebony Reigns, Nana Opoku Kwarteng aka Starboy Kwarteng has revealed that the ghost of his daughter has been tormenting him on steps to take in keeping her legacy alive.

According to Starboy Kwarteng, all his decisions he takes nowadays are been influenced by the ghost of Ebony who he always refer to as Nana Hemaa and he dare not go against her wish fearing what might happen if he goes against her wish.

Recently, he signed a new artiste Kim Maureen on his music label Bony To The World Records and revealed Ebony asked him to do that.

“Even while she was alive, there were times I dare not refuse her directives that is how come I refer to her as a queen. You can represent her but never replace her. In my interactions with her, she has asked I get someone to represent her and that is why I have settled Kim Maureen”, he revealed.

Already Ebony Reigns’ father, Starboy Kwarteng’s artist, Kim Maureen has released her first single ‘Bad Gyal Army’, featuring Ebony Reigns.

According to Starboy Kwarteng, he set up the record label purposely to continue the legacy of his late daughter Ebony Reigns who died last year in a car accident on the Kumasi-Sunyani highway.

“I set the record label up not because of money but to continue my daughter’s legacy. I have no option and I feel she will be happy about it,” Starboy Kwarteng said in another interview.
