A giant South African bodybuilder who is ranked among the top ones in the country faced a shocking death as he attempted to perform a backflip stunt to show off his skills to the crowds during a competition warm-up.
The deceased who was named as Sifiso Lungelo Thabete broke his neck after failing to land on his legs but rather on his head.

The officials and the spectators who rushed to help the poor builder were all left in shock by the horrific scene.
The South African bodybuilding magazine Muscle Evolution wrote of the champion: โThe bodybuilding community was shocked and saddened by the tragic news of the death of Sifiso Lungelo Thabete, a bodybuilder from Umlazi in KwaZulu-Natal, at the weekend.โ

According to the officials for the magazine, young Sifiso was marked with a bright future, following his crown as former IFBB Junior World Champion in the up to 75kg category.
Been accessed in the competition, he had โimpressed the crowd and the judges with unbelievable muscle size and maturity beyond his ageโ in his most recent competition.
