Nigeria – An Ekiti court has remanded a 20-year-old woman identified as Joy Ikoja for attempting to cut off the manhood of her boyfriend.
The Police Command arrested the suspect after tearing her boyfriend identified as Ibrahim Usman’s scrotal sac and additionally trying to cut off his manhood for cheating on her.
“The defendant on the same date, time, and place, did conduct herself in a manner likely to cause the breach of peace in the society” the prosecutor, Inspector Adeboye Adesegun, told the court.

The prosecutor disclosed that the crime committed by the suspect attempting to cut off the manhood of her boyfriend is a crime under Sections 186 and 255 and Sections 256(a) and 181(d), Criminal Laws of Ekiti State of Nigeria 2021.
The Magistrate, Olatomiwa Daramola, however, denied the suspect bail even though her lawyer urged the court to grant his client bail.
