Radio Gold,Montie FM shuts down following court ruling?

Radio Gold,Montie FM

The radio Frequencies of Radio Gold and Montie FM have been off-air several hours after the supreme court ruling on the contempt case involving the Network Broadcasting Limited thus Radio Gold,Montie FM.

It is quite unclear if the development is connected to the contempt ruling by the court which saw a Montie FM presenter and two panelists heading to jail for four months.

Also, managers of the station have all been found guilty and thus fined 30,000 cedis or risk facing a one-month jail term. READ MORE: Montie 3 sentence to Prison

The panellists, on a discussion programme on the station, threatened to kill judges, with specific reference to Justice Sulemana Gbadegbe and Chief Justice Georgina Theodora Wood

However, close source indicates that the owners ( board of directors ) of the two pro NDC radio stations are considering shutting down completely.
