A tragic armed robbery incident in Dormaa West, Bono Region, has resulted in the death of a 33-year-old Mobile Money vendor and foreign currency exchanger, Japhet Yeboah.
The heartbreaking event occurred last evening at the Nkrankwanta lorry station, where the deceased managed his business.

According to eyewitness accounts, the armed robbers arrived in a private vehicle, disguising themselves as customers looking to exchange money.

Under the pretense of engaging in business, they suddenly launched an attack, demanding that Japhet hand over all the cash in his possession.
The situation turned into a fight, during which the assailants fatally shot him in the head before making away with an undisclosed sum of money.
