Ghanaian Gospel musician Joyce Blessing is now back from her hideout after she heard that her boss Nana Appiah Mensah has been granted bail of GHC 1 million.
Well, according to the “I swear” hitmaker, unlike many perceptions out there that Gospel musicians are peaceful and behave according to the teachings of the Bible, the truth is that many of the Gospel musicians are backbiters.
According to Joyce Blessing, backbiting in the Gospel industry is so severe that it’s only the intervention of God that can bring it to an end.

“When you are new, no one talks about you. But once you become famous and start getting the gigs, that is when it all starts. More than three Gospel musicians have said bad things about me to event organisers because I had the chance to perform at those events and not them,” she told Graphic Showbiz
She added that due to this she has a handful of friends in the Gospel industry because she has to be careful and know who to trust before she befriends that person.
“I don’t want to discuss something with a friend and the next day, hear it somewhere else. My husband is my everything and that has helped me to stay out of trouble. I discuss whatever worries me and he gives me the right answers” she added.
