Fame is not something achieved with a one-night stand but staying on top or being among the best in the music industry is also another blow job.
Many great Ghanaian artistes have equally seen this career fade fate over the years.
Well, the likes of Sarkodie, R2Bees, Samini, and very few others have made it seem easy and smooth. But we cannot say the same for a lot more.

Ghpage.com has compiled a list of artists who are nowhere near their former statuses as they were in the 90s and early 2000s.
#1 Mzbel
MZBEL
The then erotic artist’s song “16 Years” still survives as her utmost quality. This is notable because it is a song whose theme does not expire.

When “16 Years” was released in the early 2000s, most Ghanaians thought Mzbel was on the way to be one of the prominent musicians in the industry, but unfortunately, everything fell apart and it is difficult to tell how.
#2 Deeba
Anyone who lived through the 90s and early 2000s in Ghana should know who Deeba was. His self-titled track “Deeba” is a winner of a Ghana Music Award.

Unluckily, the talented musician could not mix his schooling and his music together. His travel overseas to further his education saw the end of a promising career.
#3 Abrewa Nana
Abrewa Nana is undoubtedly one the female explorers of ragga and dancehall music in Ghana and that makes her fall from the cover very shocking.

She was admired basically because she was excelling in a genre of music that most thoughts belonged to men.
#4 Terry Bonchaka
TERRY ADJETEY BONCHAKABonchaka’s case is a brutal case of death taking away the promising star. A young second-year student by then at the University of Ghana, Bonchaka died in a car accident in the early 2000s.

He was a charismatic performer. Bonchaka had an irresistible style with his fashion and music which from then till now most people have tried to imitate.
#5 King David
King David’s “Ayefe Notse” is a timeless classic. It won him a Ghana Music Award for best collaboration along with Samini.
