Renowned Ghanaian music engineer, Edward Nana Poku Osei, also known as Hammer, has resigned from his post as the Director of Hip-life at the Musicians Union of Ghana (MUSIGA).

According to the legendary music producer, he arrived at the decision because he felt disrespected at MUSIGA.

“My office never had a budget to do anything,” he told Lexis Bill on Accra-based Joy FM on Monday, 21 May 2018, adding that: “I was treated like a little boy.”

According to Hammer, officials at MUSIGA frustrated his efforts to begin work as they kept giving him excuses anytime he goes to the office to work.

“I haven’t worked because it didn’t make sense to me, Obour is my friend, I spoke to him a couple of times, he is my boy, I respect him a lot, but nothing was happening.”

Hammer, was appointed by MUSIGA President Bice Osei Kuffour (Obour) two years ago to manage and develop hiplife in Ghana.
