Audrey Maame Esi Swatson is the youngest Ghanaian female pilot who has obtained a commercial license.
Audrey Swatson who was born on 23rd February 1997 hails from Saltpond in the Central Region.
22-year-old Audrey had her basic education at the University of Ghana Basic School and her Senior High Education at the Ghana Christian International High School where she studied General Science.
Audrey completed senior high school at age 18 and was admitted at Mach1 Aviation Academy in Johannesburg (South Africa) where she pursued her dream of becoming a pilot.
Audrey now holds a commercial pilot license to the standards of the South African Civil Aviation Authority.
“My flight training experience at Mach1 Aviation Academy has developed my ability to operate in a fast-paced, high-performing organization. It reinforced the requirement to make sound decisions in a sometimes ambiguous environment, led by example and deliver results with little margin for error.
I had the privilege of flying with some truly inspirational, selfless flight instructors who embodied fortitude, grit, resilience, courage, integrity”, Audrey Esi Swatson revealed.

Audrey Maame Esi Swatson has set up an aviation company called the Excel Aviation Company.
In 2016, Audrey attended a sponsored conference in the USA as the First African female pilot by International Women in Aviation.
Audrey was also recently celebrated by the Ministry of Aviation for her immense contribution of the Aviation work in Ghana.
