Highlife Legend C.K Mann goes home on July 14

Born Mr Charles Kofi Amankwaa Mann, C K Mann thrilled Ghanaians with songs such as Adwoa Yankey, Asafo Beson, and other popular highlife tunes.

He passed away on 20th March 2018 at the GPHA Hospital in Takoradi. He was 83 years old.

5 things you should know about the late C. K. Mann

The one-week celebration of legendary highlife musician Charles Kofi Mann, popularly known as CK Mann, was held on Friday, April 6, 2018.

The one-week memorial service was held at the Anaji Estate in Takoradi in the Eastern Region.

Present at the one-week memorial service were Family, friends and loved ones, contingent from MUSIGHA, renowned highlife musicians like Gyedu Blay Ambolley, Diana Hopeson, Lucky Mensah, Rex Omar etc.

He received several awards during his lifetime including Grand Medal of Ghana which was presented to him by Former President John Agyekum Kuffuor in 2016.

C K Mann suffered a stroke a few years back and he never recovered. May his soul rest in perfect Peace
