AMG rapper Medikal we are sure by now regrets ever tweeting that he saved the Ghanaian rap industry from dying in the last four years.

He tweeted: “4 years ago I saved Ghanaian Rap music from dying and I promise to keep it alive ??”

After this controversial tweet, several people have lashed out at him for making such a statement which in another way is a disrespect to the old rappers who were in the system before he came.

When we thought the issue has died down, former Sarkcess music signee Strongman has become the latest person to attack Medikal saying was just running his mouth and that he has not made enough music in the past four years to be making such huge claims.

According to Strongman in an interview with Adom FM, last year alone he had released 13 songs but Medikal is yet to do that and not even within his four years claim.

“Last year alone, i dropped 13 Rap songs. Somebody should ask Medikal how many Hiphop songs he’s released within that 4 years to claim he’s held Rap down four years ago. Forget him, he’s just running his mouth”.

Strongman didn’t end there he continued to school Medikal on what the Hip-hop genre is about and not because he won an award as the best rapper at the just ended VGMAs so he could just make some statements.

“Rap is rap, Rap or Hiphop is not about hit songs. The fact that you won the Rapper of the Year should not make you be making claims which are untrue” Strongman said.
