Hollywood actor, Micheal Jai White enstooled as Chief in Akwamu

Ghanapage.com has sighted a video of American actor and martial artist, Michael Jai White been enstooled as chief as ‘Odupong’ of Akwamu Traditional Area.

The enstoolment was done by HRM, the Akwamuhene Odeneho Kwafo Akoto III – Akwamumanhene at a colourful ceremony held at the Bogyawe Palace, Akwamufie.

In the video below, the popular actor could be seen displaying some “Adowa” dance moves in the course of the ceremony and he’s reported to have come along with fellow actor, Boris Kodjoe who was also seen displaying some Adowa moves at the background.

According to reports, they came to Ghana just to study the culture and record some cultural data. Michael Jai is popularly noted for his role in the movie, Undisputed.
