It seems Hon Aponky has broken the heart of the entire nation. The news which went viral a few moments ago that he has won the Adukrom Nima electoral area in the Ashanti region has turned out to be false.
Out of the 19 electoral polling stations within the Adukrom Nima electoral area, Nana Adabor Ibrahim Isaah Ampim popularly known as Hon. Aponkye won just two.

What made people believe he had won was the fact that Hon Aponkye began celebrating after winning the two polling stations which are his strongholds.
What made his assertions believable was when Nana Aba Anamoah who is staunch support tweeted that Hon Aponkye had won.
Sports Presenter, Saddick Adams who was on grounds confirmed he has lost the election on Twitter.
