Defeated aspiring Assemblyman for Adukrom Nima in the Ashanti Region popularly known as Hon. Aponkye has revealed his decision to venture into music.
According to Hon. Aponkye originally known as Nana Adabor Ibrahim Issah Ampim he has always been a musician with over 7 songs to his credit.
He disclosed that he started music since 2008 and his hopeful that by 2020, he will be one of the biggest musicians in Ghana.
Hon. Aponkye also revealed that his music name is ‘Oxygen’ and he is very good at singing and rapping.
Hon. Aponkye further stated that he writes his own song and does not need anyone to make him a star.

Hon. Aponkye also delivered an ‘electrifying’ rap during an interview to buttress his claims of being a good rapper.
Hon. Aponkye lost miserably during the just ended District Assembly and Unit committee elections after his outrageous campaign promises.
He gained only 234 votes representing 9% of the total votes while the winner Hon. Abdul Rashid won with 1056 votes representing 40%.
However, Hon. Aponkye threatened to challenge the District Assembly and Unit Committee elections at the Supreme Court as he felt cheated.
