“How juju destroyed my career” – Yenko Nkoa hitmaker, Edowodzi recounts

Black magic or juju has been mentioned by Edowodzi as the reason his burgeoning career as a fine singer experienced a nose dive.

According to him, his colleagues fashioned against him spiritually when he rose to the limelight.

Speaking on Connect FM, the “Yenko Nkoa” hitmaker recounted the spiritual battles he had to fight before he could escape from the attacks from his colleagues.

He had to be indisposed for 2 years. During those periods, he was confined to solitary as his health deteriorated at a fast pace. He feared for his life since he knew other musicians were trying to bring him down.

“I signed a contract to tour the USA and 19 other countries after I released ‘Yenko Nkoa,’ but I lost the deal owing to my illness,” the performer said.

“In Ghana, being a musician is difficult. You will regret ever being a musician if you don’t have a strong spiritual foundation.”

“It was discovered that several colleagues in the music business were to blame for my misery after visiting numerous churches. God saved me when I was about to pass away. In Ghana, music is crucial to survival.”
