A Nigerian man has shared a distressing account of marital betrayal, revealing that he is seeking a divorce after allegedly discovering that his wife had been sending private photos and videos of herself to other men.
According to the man, he had provided for his wife and supported her throughout their marriage, making the discovery particularly painful for him.
He alleged that he uncovered evidence showing his wife had been secretly exchanging inappropriate photos and videos with other men without his knowledge.
The man said that after confronting her, he confiscated her phone and reported the matter to her family members in an effort to resolve the issue amicably.
Following the revelation, a meeting was reportedly convened between representatives of both families to address the situation.
During the meeting, the wife allegedly admitted her wrongdoing and promised to end the behaviour and work towards rebuilding trust in the marriage.
However, the husband claims that despite her assurances, she later returned to the same conduct, further damaging their relationship.
Feeling betrayed and unable to continue the marriage, the man said he has now decided to pursue a divorce.
According to him, members of his wife’s family have since been pleading with him to reconsider his decision and give the marriage another chance.
