The police have arrested a Nigerian man identified as Zoalang Paul for unaliving his wife ia domestic dispute linked to accusations of infidelity.
According to preliminary reports, the suspect admitted to attacking his wife after she moved from home to spend about two weeks away from home with another man.
During police interrogation, Zoalang Paul confessed that he acted out of anger after discovering what he described as an intimate relationship between his wife and her lover.
Narrating events to investigators, the suspect claimed that his wifeโs friend introduced her to another man, whom she allegedly began seeing secretly.

He stated that she spent several nights outside their matrimonial home, which raised concerns among family members.
The suspect further told police that after receiving a call from his cousin, he went to a particular house he was familiar with and witnessed his wife lying together with the other man.
He claimed he left the scene, informed his cousin of what he had seen, and later returned home overwhelmed by rage.
In his statement, Zoalang Paul admitted to deliberately preparing a weapon before carrying out the attack that eventually led to his wifeโs death.
When questioned by officers on why he failed to stop despite her screams and whether he felt any pride over her death, he reportedly answered in the negative.
