Kennedy Agyapong the Member of Parliament for Assin Central for weeks has been off the scene (missing in action).
His sudden absence got his loved ones and fans very worried as they did not know what he was going through.
As we all know already, whenever he goes into long silence it means he’s up to something. Thus bringing an expose that will shake grounds.
But our guesses this time were very wrong. Kennedy Agyapong has been battling with COVID-19 all these while without anyone knowing.
The maverick politician in a phone-in interview with Adom News‘ Alfred Amoh revealed that he contracted the deadly COVID-19 which nearly sent him to his early grave.
Kennedy Agyapong in his statement said he contracted the deadly disease after the celebration of his 60th birthday on Tuesday, June 16, 2020.
According to him, his slight careless exposure to some positive individuals at the celebration of his 60th birthday nearly cost him his life.
The lawmaker narrating his ordeal mentioned that COVID-19 is soo real that nobody must joke with else the worst could happen.
He went on to say that the virus had a severe impact on his health since the experience was serious and he had to battle for his life as he laid silently in isolation for 14 days.
Kennedy Agyapong also urged Ghanaians to stop treating the existence of the virus with kids gloves and to adopt the safety and preventive measures put in place.

“It was after my 60th birthday party which I resisted so much and it exposed me to people who had already tested positive.
I dined with them and even for some people, they did not even have their nose masks on while others had theirs down the chin.
For over two weeks I was in quarantine; my nose was blocked and my bed was as if water had been poured on it coupled with a fever and within five days, I had lost weight drastically.
I have recovered now and not shy to talk about it because I am a testimony but the disease is so real and we don’t have to joke with it.
