Medikal, Ghanaian rapper and confidant of dancehall enigma Shatta Wale, has spoken for the first time following the just-ended TGMA, which proclaimed Black Sherif the “Artist of the Year”.
Speaking in an interview with Joy Prime monitored by GH Page, Medikal shared the incident that occurred before he was given an award, stating that it was the doing of the Almighty God.
The rapper shared that he had just gotten seated when he was announced the winner of the popular song of the year for his song “Should,” which features Shatta Wale and Beeztrap KOTM. He said “I was very excited because I had just taken my seat and then I was called on stage”.
Medikal noted that even though many are of the view that the TGMA isn’t credible enough, “I felt it was well deserved because one of the biggest songs from last year until now was mine”, noting that “We won four awards”.
