Sonnie Badu has responded to Vision 1 FM TV host, Kwame OB Nartey after the latter called him a clout chaser for congratulating Kuami Eugene on his triumph at the just ended VGMAs.
Sonnie earlier took to social media to commend Kuami Eugene after the Rockstar became the youngest ever act to win the Artiste of the year at the Ghana Music Awards.
The internationally acclaimed Gospel musician called Eugene his son and threw some jewels of wisdom to him to help sustain his career as an artiste.
OB Nartey surprisingly was not impressed by Sonnie Badu’s comments as he hit out at him and called him a fame chaser who associates with everyone’s success.
He added that the UK based musician has real sons in the Gospel fraternity who he promised to help but has held back his support to date.
The musician who now pastors RockHill Church took to Instagram and in a subtle post responded to the presenter’s statement.
In a post which read, ” If I was an old old old man, this is the advice grandPa Badu will give to his grandchildren for September, it is pretty simple … DO not respond to ignorant fools who want attention, they will waste your time … Jesus did it and it worked for him … ITS PURPLE ??”, Sonnie replied OB Nartey.
