Asuoden music boss, Pope Skinny has stated that despite the fact that he’s at loggerheads with his former friend Shatta Wale, he still loves him.
According to him, he is willing to forgive the dancehall artiste if he recognizes his wrongs and call to render an apology.

Speaking in an interview with Accra-based Hitz FM, Pope Skinny stated that he did anticipate that a time like this would come when he’ll have beef with Shatta Wale.
He added that though he dreamt about such doom days between them but never imagined that it’ll be dirty and serious like it is now.

Popo Skinny, when asked by the host if he ever regrets becoming friends with Shatta Wale, replied that though he feels sad for himself he would never feel regret for the friendship that was between him and Shatta Wale.
The Asuoden empire boss explaining his reply as said earlier stated that he knew a day like this will come though he didn’t know this is how it will happen.
He said: “I don’t regret, I feel sad for myself but I don’t regret. The only reason why I don’t regret is because I knew a day like this will come but I didn’t know this is how it will happen.”
The Akuapem rapper noted that he has been able to tolerate Shatta Wale for some time now all because of his humble nature.

“I have known Shatta for a very long time, it has happen to almost everybody and because of how humble and very down to earth I am, I’m able to tolerate him for all this while,”
“we have our good times… we have our bad times and I don’t regret being a friend with Shatta,” Pope Skinny explain.

Well, Shatta Wale in the midst of this brouhaha has cited several reasons why he sacked Pope Skinny from his Shatta Movement Family which has currently led to the mudslinging between the two former best friends.

According to him, Pope Skinny just like Blade, Good Over Evil and the others he has sacked are ungrateful. Shatta Wale also claims Pope Skinny and the others are driving his true fans from him.
However, a close source from the camp of Shatta Movement revealed that Pope Skinny made a post on social media which offended Shatta Wale.
