Kumawood actress, Gloria Kani has openly revealed that she did not endorse former president John Dramani Mahama and the NDC party with the intention of acquiring wealth from them as many people suggest.
The Kumawood actress together with other colleagues was seen as heavy supporters who endorsed the National Democratic Congress ahead of the 2016 elections.
However, Gloria in an interview with Dave Hammer on Hello FM in Kumasi as monitored by Ghpage.com stated that she has been a die-hard supporter of the National Democratic Congress since birth and she has no intention of turning back now.
She made a clarification on the rumored allegations that she is not like other known people who joined the NDC party prior to the 2016 election for financial gains.
“I did not join NDC because of money, I am NDC. My uncle, honorable Stephen Kunso has been MP at Kintampo for 20 years on the ticket of NDC.” Miss Kani noted.
Without mincing words, Gloria Kani added that she will rather die than seek help from NPP even if she is in her sick bed.
“If I’m sick now and NPP would have to give me life, I promise you that I’ll choose to die. I can never vote for NPP, it won’t even work,” she added.
When the host, Dave Hammer asked if NPP is the provider of air, would she still maintain her stands, Gloria Kani firmly said:
“I would have been dead by now”.
