An upcoming Kumasi-based rapper, Ypee has revealed that he dashed out not less than $7,000 amount of money to Ghana’s ‘Highest rapper’, Sarkodie before getting him to feature on his song, “Meye Guy”.

Speaking in an interview with Arnold on ‘VibesIn5’, Ypee signified that he assumes rapper Sarkodie wouldn’t have bothered himself to feature on the song if he was unable to raise that $7,000 amount.
According to the uprising rapper, the “Adonai” hitmaker demanded the money and ordered for full payment even before moving into the studio.
Ypee added in his conversation that he was not bothered by the amount paid to the popular rapper since it is a great investment into his music career.
“Well, I cannot really disclose the actual amount, but I paid him not less than $7,000 for appearance. I believe Sarkodie is the biggest artiste in Ghana, so paying such huge amount is no big deal,” ypee said.

On Sarkodie’s skills and contribution, the young artist admitted that Sarkodie is undoubtedly the biggest gift God has given to Ghana’s music industry.
Ypee’s latest tune “Meye Guy” is making waves and enjoying massive airplay after featuring Ghana’s King of rap, Sarkodie on it.
