Benjamin Asare, the goalkeeper of the Ghana Black Stars team has expressed his joy after he made it into the first eleven selection.
The goalkeeper has shared that, being part of the selection is a dream come true, as he thanked everyone who contributed their quota to make this possible.
According to him, โWith the deepest humility and gratitude, I thank God and everyone who made this journey possible. To be allowed to represent Ghana on footballโs greatest stage is an honour beyond wordsโ.
Benjamin Asare noted that he wouldnโt let the coach, the officials of the Ghana Black Stars team, and Ghanaians to a large extent regret giving him the opportunity.
He pledged that, so far as he has blood running through his veins, he would do his best possible as far as the World Cup is concerned.
He said โI wear this badge with pride, and I pledge to give everything I have, every save, every drop of sweat, and every breath, for my motherland. For Ghana. For the Black Star. For the dream of a nation. I pledge.โ
