I sometimes feel like insulting people who say Ashanti Region didn’t vote – NAPO

The vice-presidential candidate for the NPP ahead of the 2024 Elections Dr Matthew Opoku Prempeh popularly known as NAPO has disclosed that he sometimes feels like insulting people who say he couldn’t make Ashanti Region vote for the NPP.

He made this remark in Parliament when Channel 1 presenter Caleb Kudah wanted to find out from him why the NPP couldn’t get the numbers to win the elections.

In his response, he stated that sometimes he gets angry when journalists approach him to question why his party lost in the Ashanti Region.

According to him, the whole country didn’t vote and it’s not good for any right-thinking human being to assume that NPP lost in the Ashanti Region didn’t come out to vote.

He said: “…. when I hear someone say these things I really feel like insulting that person….”
