Nigerian Superstar, Patience Ozokwor has made a recollection of how life used to beat her half dead until success knocked at her door.
The woman of substance made the shocking recollection whilst she was when she was speaking in an interview during a pre-premiere dinner for Funke Akindele’s upcoming movie ‘Everybody Loves Jenifa’.
The actress has said that, behind her beautiful smile that many are envious of, there is a sad story.
She recounted what she went through as a young girl, or woman before becoming the Patience Ozorkor many see today.
She went as far back as when she was a mortician, just to ensure that food was put on the table for herself and family, so that they would not depend on alms for survival.
“I used to go to the mortuary to dress dead bodies so my children could go to school and eat,” she revealed, adding that “I did a lot of things to make my family what they are today”.
