Ibrahim Sannie Daara hits Anas with 20million cedis defamation law suit

The lawyer for investigative journalist Anas Aremeyaw Anas has confirmed that his client has received three lawsuits as of now after the exposé on corruption in Ghanaian football titled #Number12, with the latest being Ibrahim Sannie Daara.

The Director of Communications of the Ghana FA has hit controversial journalist Anas Aremeyaw Anas and his company Tiger Eye company with a defamation lawsuit of 20 million Cedis or $5m in damages.

According to Sannie Daara, Anas’ claims that he made his colleague accept a bribe on his behalf is not true and that not have any substance.

Sannie Daara also filed another lawsuit at the High Court of Justice with Human Rights application insisting the actions of the controversial ‘violated the Applicant’s right to the privacy of his communication which is guaranteed by the Clause 2 of Article 16 of the Constitution’.
