The term ‘my village people are doing me’ according to Nollywood actor Yul Edochie is not true and it is high time people stop thinking people in their village are hindering their progress.
Yul Edochie claimed in a social media post that the so-called “village people” are too preoccupied with their own affairs to meddle in other people’s affairs.
Since not all issues can be cured by prayer or the church, he advised individuals to look within and think about seeking conventional remedies to their problems rather than blaming their difficulties on outside causes.
His post reads: “Nobody is holding you back because of the village,” Yul stated. “The people there are too busy trying to make progress in their own lives. It’s you holding yourself back. Go home, consult traditional sources, and ask questions about your life. Understand your origins and your direction. The church doesn’t solve everything.”
