It is believed that some faceless persons are trying to frustrate efforts in premiering the latest investigative piece of the ace investigative journalist, Anas Aremeyaw Anas dubbed ‘Number 12’.

Despite earlier several failed machinations to frustrate the journalist and his Tiger Eye PI team from showing the film on their latest work on politics and football, another group has gone to the market with lies of bomb scares at the intended venues for the premiering.

These malicious reports, according to a source close to Tiger Eye PI that spoke stated that, “could only amount to a figment of the imaginations of the ‘wicked and corrupt’ persons who are bent on ensuring that either the film is not shown to Ghanaians or that the events are not attended by the good people of Ghana in whose interest Tiger Eye PI and Anas have over the years braced the storm to blow the lid off corrupt individuals and their acts”.

The Tiger Eye PI informant disclosed on Monday morning said the claims are rumors peddled by some faceless persons who are bent on thwarting what the team is focused on executing and must be treated with the contempt it deserves.

He said many wicked attempts purposed at scaring people away from the shows across the nation is another propagandist tool to hit a snag.

“We want to assure the public that, we are not naïve of the need for the needed security arrangements for such events. This is because we have been in this practice for a considerable number of years” the source assured.

Adding that, “there will be enough security, even more than has been over the years for previous premiering, especially so, considering the countless number of controversies that have surrounded this particular expose”.

The team has been very pragmatic in ensuring that, the “Number 12” will be premiered to the nation without hitches, and this we are keen on achieving without fear or favor”. The source said.

It concluded that “people running around with misinformation should be ignored since there would be enough security provided at the event and no bomb would be there”

The investigative piece, which is said to be on football and politics, is set to be premiered in Accra on 6th and 7th June, in Kumasi on 9th and 10th June, Tamale on 13th June and in Takoradi on 16th 2018.
