Ghanaian broadcaster Abeiku Santana has described the current Inspector General of Police (IGP) George Akufo Dampare as a workaholic who has the interest of the nation at heart.
According to him, he has been moved by the leadership of the IGP and will throw his support and campaign for him if he ever shows interest in becoming the President of Ghana.
Speaking on Okay FM on the back of the successes of IGP Dampare which are evident in his gradual restoration of the integrity of the Ghana Police Service coupled with fostering of peace and order, Abeiku Santana said he believes he is the man for the job.
“He has shown leadership and I am ready to campaign for him if he wants to become the president of Ghana. Since he took office, the IGP has been upbeat about the country and has restored the integrity of the service.”
“I believe he is the man who can change Ghana, he is a workaholic,” Abeiku Santana said.
IGP Dampare has received nationwide appraisal for his exemplary leadership since he took office. Many have commended him for his distinct approach to leading the Ghana Police Service.
