Actress and socialite, Akuapem Poloo who converted to Islam just a week ago has revealed that she’ll never marry a man who doesn’t practice Islam.
Speaking in an interview with Nana Romeo on Accra FM, the mother of one emphatically stated that non-Muslim men who wish to marry her must first convert to Islam before she’ll agree to wed them.

According to Akuapem Poloo, since she’s now a full Muslim, she can’t marry a man who doesn’t practise the same faith as hers.
Addressing the reports that she converted to Islam because of a rich Alhaji who wants to marry her, Akuapem Poloo strongly denied the rumours.
She explained that she converted to Islam because of the faith and love she has for the religion and not necessarily because of a man as speculated in the media.

News of Poloo’s conversion was welcomed with some level of doubt with some netizens suggesting she’s just messing with her fans to generate attention as she has always been known for.
