The amorous separation between Sister Derby and Medikal has not affected the former as much as many have thought and felt.
Sister Derby has said she was the one who left the “Omo Ada” hitmaker and she moved on since she took that hard decision.
According to her, leaving Medikal did not get her depressed or throw her into a state of helplessness. She maintained in a recent interview that she has been enjoying life after parting ways with him and her wrinkleless face do prove the point.
“I don’t make theirs public because they were private and I moved on a long time ago.” As I previously stated, I would not have released Kakalika Love if I had not moved on. And, in the end, I ended the relationship. So, what exactly do you mean I haven’t progressed? Do I appear depressed? Do I appear to be struggling? “Do I have creases?” She enquired.
Sister Derby also went on to speak and clarify why she sent a birthday message to Medikal even after they were no more together. According to her, she decided to send her felicitations to the rapper because he’s a public figure but not because she still loves him.
“Just because I’m wishing someone a happy birthday doesn’t mean I haven’t moved on.” Because he is a public figure and we were in a public relationship, I wished him (Medikal) a happy birthday. “Through text messages, I wish some of them (exes) a happy birthday.”
“And I got that from my nefarious mind.” I saw a nice picture of us on our laptop and joked with my sisters that I’d caption it, ‘Happy birthday to my sweet ex.’ They burst out laughing, so I said, “OK, let me do it.” The problem is that people would assume the individual is married. I didn’t say ‘boo,’ I said ‘ex.’ It’s also a birthday wish. You won’t be able to take me to court. “Ours was a very sweet and happy relationship.”
