Award-winning Highlife artiste Dada Hafco has described Amakye Dede and Kuami Eugene’s VGMA 19 incident as an insult to the genre.
It would be remembered that during the VGMA last year, Amakye Dede during his performance called out Kuami Eugene and crowned him as the King of Highlife.
After the show, music lovers were divided into two with one section saying Kuami Eugene deserved it whiles the other side believed he has more work to do to earn that title.

Well, after over a year since the incident, Dada Hafco has expressed his thought towards the crowning incident.
Speaking in an exclusive interview on Ahotor FM stated that the move by legend Amakye Dede is an insult to they the old ones in the game before the emergence of Kuami Eugene.
“Kuami Eugene is a fine talent but crowing him as the highlife king is an insult to the oldies in the game, how long has he been doing highlife to be crowned king of highlife, he is good but it is not time yet”, he to the host Agyewodin Akosua Sakyibea.
