GH Page boss, Rashad Emmanuel has gone berserk on the Kwabena Boakye- Vivian Jill’s brouhaha, stating that one’s ceiling should be cleaned thoroughly before their floor.
Speaking during Friday’s edition of “Rash Hour”, the renowned blogger shared that he understands Kwabena Boakye’s plight, unlike many others who took a swipe at the young man for pouring out his grievances. “I understand Kwabena Boakye”, the blogger said.
Rashad noted that it is very sad when a person makes a promise to another. Still, after the other has put in all their effort to ensure things get well, they are repaid with evil, and, funnily enough, the one who made the promises ends up spewing nonsense. “Kwaku, it hurts when someone promises you but fails to deliver”.
Rashad looked at the issue from a panoramic view and said that, promising and failing by successful and big men in Ghana has become too much and needs to be dealt with as soon as possible.
He expressed that, many would beg others to help them build, and when things become successful, they would let them enjoy the fruits of their labor.
However, and sadly enough, when success finally locates them, the people who sacrificed for them to become who they are, are sidelined or better still, treated badly.
“In this country, many big men are fond of doing that. They will tell you to help them build, and when they get there, they won’t turn their backs on you. But when they finally become successful, they will tell you that you feel so entitled”, he said.
He added that “they will tell you that if it were easy, your family would have supported you to make it. Meanwhile, when you were helping them, they didn’t remember you had a family. When I was helping you, you didn’t question where my parents were. Our leaders in this country like making promises”.
Rashad questioned why money would be spent on outsiders, when the people close, who are to enjoy go through hell and sometimes, have to depend on alms for survival.
“Home is not okay, but they will be spending the money on outsiders. It is very popular in this country, Ghana. You could see that the person following them is hungry and things aren’t okay for them, hence, they need help, but help would be given to outsiders”, he noted, adding that “it will be very stupid to overlook Kwaku here and support outsiders”.
