Ghanaian singer King Promise has referred to the opportunity he had to meet US rapper Chance when he was in Ghana a miracle which he never expected.
According to him, one of his wildest dreams came to pass when he got the chance to meet Chance The Rapper.
Speaking on TV3, the ‘Selfish’ hitmaker said Vic Mensa introduced him to Chance and they already have a collabo they are working on.
“I’m not gonna lie. I never thought I could work with him. I’m a fan of his and love his music, but I didn’t know we could meet up one day. We made some sick stuff. There are so many great prospects coming in the pipeline.”
“When Chance came, I got the phone call that we should meet. I was out of town but linked up immediately after I got back. Vic introduced me to Chance. We made a song that night, but we have a lot we are working on.”
Chance The Rapper and Vic Mensa were in Ghana during the Christmas festivities where they linked up with a selected local artists. They also used that opportunity to establish a base herein Ghana.
The two had the privilege to meet President Akuf-Addo where they were encouraged to sell Ghana music to the west.
