Ivy Heward Mills, the wife of the late Abuakwa North MP, J.B. Danquah who was murdered in his room several few years ago has sued the member of parliament for Assin Central, Kennedy Ohene Agyapong and 8 Others for defamation.
In an attempt to discredit the award-winning investigative journalist from Ghana, Anas Aremeyaw Anas before the premiere of the “Numer 12” exposé which focused on corruption in the Ghana football association, Kennedy Agyapong alleged on several media platforms that Ivy Heward Mills was in a relationship with Anas.

He even went on to allege that Anas is complicit in the murder of J.B. Danquah whose murder has not been solved since it occurred close to 10 years ago.
Some family members of the late Member of parliament collaborated the allegations from Kennedy Agyapong despite persistent denial from Ivy Heward Mills.

The Godfather of Anas Aremeyaw Anas came out to clear the air that Anas and Ivy are just school friends. He denied a se*xual relationship between Anas and Ivy and certainly denied the murder allegations from Kennedy Agyapong.
Ivy Heward Mills believes those statements were slanderous and defamatory of her character and has sued Kennedy Agyapong and 8 others.
