Mutabaruka, a Jamaican Rastafarian Piet, Musician, Actor, Educator, and a Talk-show host has chosen Stonebwoy over Shatta Wale as his favourite artiste in Ghana.
The ‘People’s Court’ hitmaker who developed two of Jamaica’s most popular radio programs, The Cutting Edge and Steppin’ Razor in an Interview on Metro TV noted that Stonebwoy is lyrically good and does real reggae unlike the SM boss, Shatta Wale.

Answering a question who his favourite Ghanaian artiste was, Mutabaruka mentioned Salif Keïta from Mali as his all-time best African artiste but He disapproved when Shatta Wale’s name was mentioned but approved when Stonebwoy’s name was equally mentioned.
