John Mahama‘s running mate, Professor Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang has granted aid to the Ghanaian woman whose husband abandoned her because she gave birth to quadruplets.

According to reports sighted on Graphiconline.com, this was after the 27-year-old mother gave birth on July 19, 2020, and reports about her predicament were shared on the internet.

However, prior to Jane Opoku’s aid, some sympathetic health workers contributed monies to take care of the unemployed mother.

It is therefore believed that Professor Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang, has offered to help a Ghanaian lady whose man disappeared after she gave birth to quadruplets upon hearing kind gestures of the health workers.

Per reports sighted on Pulse.com.gh, after hearing of the predicament of the wife, Jane Naana Opoku Agyemang decided to support her with GH¢2,000 and pledged to do more.

The Member of Parliament for Ellembelle and former Minister of Energy and Petroleum, Mr. Emmanuel Armah Kofi Buah, presented the donation on behalf of Prof. Opoku-Agyemang.

The husband, George Ackah is reported to have abandoned his 27-year-old wife at the Bibiani Municipal Hospital in the Western North Region, after obtaining news that she was bringing four babies, which she delivered on Sunday, July 19.

It is indicated that the unemployed wife, who lives with Ackah in Sefwi Adukrom, a farming community, already had two children with the man before the arrival of the quadruplets.
