His mother, Madam Dorcas Opoku is still in shock as to what really might have lead to her son committing suicide at that early age. In her report about the incident, she said that on Sunday evening before the incident, she heard her son and his friends playing loud music in his room which was uncommon of him and for students who had to sleep early and prepare for school the next day.

As a caring mother, she went inside the room to tell them to turn off the music and told his son to retire to bed because school awaits the next morning, afterward she left for her room to sleep as it was already late in the evening.
