Rapper Joey B has finally revealed the reason why he left D-Black‘s Black Avenue Music stating that he just had a little misunderstanding with the label.
According to some news reports sometime back, the “Tonga” hitmaker left the record label after he had a fight with his boss D-Black but reacting to this in an interview with Hitz Fm, Joey B indicated that he had no problem with his former boss and he would be ungrateful if he ever says anything of that sort.

He revealed that he prior to him becoming famous, he had stayed with D-Black for 18years.
“I love D Black too, I don’t know why people think we have fallen out. I stay with him for over 18 years. He is like Jay Z to me. Forever in my heart. He is the reason I went mainstream. I don’t joke with him”, he said.
On the actual reason why he left the label, he stated that: “I wouldn’t say there was ‘beef’. There was a misunderstanding. I wanted to be on my own. He had a plan but I also had one. I was creative and being stubborn. I heard handling a genius isn’t easy. Look at Kanye. We sometimes misunderstand him”.
