Actor and NDC sympathizer John Dumelo has rescinded his decision to contest as a member of Parliament for Ayawaso Wuogon on the ticket of the NDC.
Some days ago we reported on the actor cum entrepreneur picking up the forms from the party office but in a new statement from the NDC in the constituency has disclosed that John Dumelo and another candidate, Ewoenam Y. A. Attidokpo withdrew from the race “due to some personal reasons.”

John Dumelo paid the cost of nominations forms which was pegged at GH¢1,000. He had yet to pay the non-refundable GH¢10,000 filing fee, with a 50 percent discount on the filing fees for women and persons with disability.
