Junior Agogo speaks on his stroke & the difficulties he still suffers 4yrs on

Former Ghana Blacks stars player, Manuel Junior Agogo who suffered a stroke 4 years ago has spoken again about his sickness and how he is still suffering from it four years after it happened.

According to Junior Agogo who suffered the stroke on 8th December 2014, he is recovering from the sickness ever since it happened. However, he still can not use his right hand to write or do many activities.

Speaking to the interviewer in a video going viral whom it is believed is a doctor attending to Junior Agogo in London, the former Nottingham Forest and Zamalek striker revealed his hand is better but he can not still use it much.

“It’s (right hand) better but it ain’t like before,” Agogo said in a slurred speech

Manuel Junior Agogo suffered a stroke on 8th December 2014 just two years after he ended his professional football career. In 2017, Agogo granted in an interview with the BBC and spoke about his struggles ever since he suffered the stroke including his struggle with speech.

In the BBC Four documentary titled Speechless in 2017, Junior Agogo revealed that his difficulties in speaking have made him lose his confidence and he has become socially isolated.

Two years after his interview with BBC Manuel Junior Agogo is still visiting the Neuro Rehab Unit of the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery in London’s Queen Square in his effort to overcome the challenges he has suffered from the stroke.
