The member of parliament for Assin Central Hon. Kennedy Agyapong has commended the Minister for Roads and Highways, Mr. Kwasi Amoako Attah for arresting foreign contractors for putting up a 22-storey building at the Airport Residential Area obstructing the movement of commuters.
In reacting to the arrest of the contractors, Kennedy Ohene Agyapong lauded the Road Minister for his action, adding that it’s high time the laws of the country are enforced.
According to Kennedy Agyapong, foreigners are taking the laws of Ghana for granted and must be punished accordingly for that.
Kennedy Agyapong added that he is happy about the new development and the works of the Road Minister must be emulated by other law enforcers.

This comes after Mr. Kwasi Amoako Attah ordered the demolition of a concrete barricade put up by some Turkish developers in constructing a 22-storey building at Airport Residential Area.
The construction has taken part of the road and destroying it in the process which causes heavy vehicular traffic.
The Road Minister who was very angry upon reaching the site ordered for the arrest of the contractor.
